Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival
Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival is one of the Big five festivals of Michinoku. It started from 1977. This festival holds during Valentine season. Roughly 200 snow lanterns and 300 miniature igloos light up the dark winter night in the park. Floodlit, the Hirosaki castle is fantastic and romantic.
Large snow slide and popular character snow sculptures make children happy. This festival is managed people who live in Hirosaki to enjoy long hard winter of this area.
In the daytime, the events will be held, such as concerts and games.
